Announcing Startup Park: The Home for Startup Innovation at CES Asia 2016
Curated exhibit area to provide entrepreneurs an opportunity for brand exposure in the rapidly growing Asian marketplace
Modeled after the Eureka Park™ Marketplace at CES, Startup Park will feature new products, services and ideas from startups seeking exposure in the rapidly growing Asian marketplace. Eureka Park, now in its fifth year, is an awe-inspiring curated exhibit area that features hundreds of cutting-edge technologies and provides rising stars an opportunity to connect with suppliers, manufacturers, investors and media to grow their businesses.
“We’ve seen countless startup success stories at Eureka Park in Las Vegas. The market is ripe for us to bring the same curated model for startup success to CES Asia through our new Startup Park exhibit area,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, CES and corporate business strategy. “This new area provides a unique and focused opportunity for small companies to introduce their products and services to potential buyers, partners, investors and media throughout Asia.”
Startup Park will be located at SNIEC Hall N4, and exhibiting parameters are designed to make it easy and affordable for startups. Exhibitors must meet the following criteria to participate in this area:
· Technology displayed must be applicable to consumer technology
· Technology cannot already be commercially available
· The technology must be demonstrable as a prototype or software mockup; no paper/concept entries.
· Participation is not limited to researchers and startups. CES Asia exhibiting organizations may have other commercial technologies as long as the technology shown in Startup Park meets these criteria.
· Must be a first-time exhibitor at CES Asia
An independent audit (http://goo.gl/2poFRk) of the inaugural CES Asia in May, 2015 shows 28,682 attendees and 212 exhibiting companies. An anticipated 350 exhibiting companies and more than 30,000 attendees are expected for CES Asia 2016. To date, more than 150 exhibitors from 13 countries are confirmed. Notable exhibitors include 3M, Audio-Technica, Cobra Electronics, Continental Automotive Holding, Gibson Brands, IBM, Monster, NavInfo, Pioneer, Qihoo 360 Technology, SAIC-GM/OnStar, Scosche, Twitter and Voxx.
