SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--NCH Korea today announced ‘Flood-damaged Facilities Recovery Program’, which supports quick recovery of factory infrastructure: machinery and electronic equipments damaged by the recent typhoon.

NCH’s ‘Flood-damaged Facilities Recovery Program’ consists of ▲’machinery recovery program’, which supports removal of contaminants on machinery with environmentally friendly cleaner, and ▲’electronic facilities recovery program’, which supports removal of contaminants and moisture in hairline cracks within electronic facilities.

Machinery recovery program: After flooding, contamination from water, soil, dust, oil and other foreign substances can damage injection machines, rolling mills, and machinery for metal processing. Secondary damage can occur, caused by rust, corrosion, and mold. NCH’s ‘Machinery recovery program’ uses ND165, an environmentally friendly cleaner certified by the Ministry of environment, DuoPower, and Enforce EF to quickly remove contaminants on machinery. After cleaning, water displacing and rust preventive oils such as: Defy Plus and Yield; and rust removers, such as: X-Rust 7, X-Rust 7 Gel and Etch Klenz are used. Neutral pH rust remover is also available through NCH.

Electronic facility recovery program: Contaminants must be quickly removed with an high dielectric cleaner, when electronic facilities equipment such as: voltage transformer, water distribution panel, or OP panel, become contaminated by water, soil, dust, carbon or oil, due to flooding. NCH’s Electronic Facility Recovery Program, uses the following cleaners with high dielectric strength: SS-25, Voltz, Super Chemsolv. These cleaners work even in the presence of moisture, and effectively cleans off contaminants thoroughly even on hairline cracks. The program also protects equipment from secondary damage due to rust, corrosion and mold. NCH uses rust-preventing oil for electric/electronic facilities

“NCH, with our exclusive and vast range of high-quality equipment maintenance products, will proactively support those affected by the recent typhoon to quickly recover and resume normal activity”, said DongEun Kim, country manager of NCH Korea. He added, “Aside from the ‘Flood-damaged Facilities Recovery Program’, we also have prepared a ‘disaster recovery solution’, based on our experience gained during recovery efforts following Japan’s earthquakes and other natural disasters throughout Asia Pacific. We are continuously supporting our Korean customers to minimize property damage”
