SAN DIEGO--(Business Wire / Korea Newswire)--XYO Network, the technology bringing blockchain to the real world, today announced that following months of integration testing, the team has completed a fully-integrated local test network.

Whether a hardcore Developer creating your own dApps, a casual technologist ready to start Geo Mining, or an XYO HODLer, here is a summary of the network and the progress to date:

Test Bridges are Sharing Data with our Test Archivist

Data is being collected and shared via XYO Network protocols by our test Sentinels, which in turn off-load the data to our test Bridges. Both devices--Bridges and Sentinels--are currently custom configured Android-enabled phones.

The test Bridges are successfully sharing the data with our test Archivist, which is indexing and storing the data in a Graph Database. The Graph Database structure allows for highly interconnected data while maintaining the flexibility and scalability to bring on many more data types.

Archivist-to-Diviner Interface Architecture Now in Place

The API queries the Archivist via a GraphQL API, and we have kept the Archivist “naive” to the query, meaning that when queried, it provides data about both parties being validated. Keeping the Archivists naive to the query allows them to store massive amounts of data, while focusing processing power on delivering that data to the Diviners.

The Key is the Diviner

To this point, we have data gathered by interactions between a mesh of Sentinels, ultimately being stored in an Archivist. The network is essentially a distributed data storage network. This is where the test Diviner architecture, currently written in a Node, leverages our internally developed dApploy utility to launch what we call the Simple Consensus Smart Contract (SCSC). The SCSC can be deployed to any blockchain platform supporting smart contracts, providing the flexibility and scalability of a truly platform-agnostic oracle. The Diviner architecture is composed of GraphQL APIs, user interfaces and Smart Contract ABIs, which allow the XYO Network to solve basic queries of whether or not two Sentinels have interacted.

With additional and more complex queries and testing now underway, they will be run on a fully-integrated test network. The XYO Network team of engineers has gone beyond proof-of-concept stage and are now actively testing on the geolocation oracle network.

“What we’ve created is a full network and innovative model that lets us build on our distributed proof-of-location technology, from the endpoint Sentinels to the critical Diviners that allow us to be a truly platform-agnostic oracle,” said Justin Fortier, Head of Consumer Products with XYO Network. “There are applications to what we’ve built across many industries, and we look forward to expanding our capabilities and network further with every passing day.”
