Oriented to the new development tendency of global digital trade, this conference also discussed the new opportunities, challenges, modes and channels, and explored in depth the new direction of development from the perspectives of institutions, associations, capital, platforms, and enterprises. Mr. Park Jin-hsiung, the consul-general of Consulate General of South of Korea in Qingdao noted in his speech that: “I hope through this e-commerce cooperation conference, we can share the cases of successful e-commerce companies, tap into innovative projects and reinforce mutual cooperation”.
Deputy Mayor of Weihai Municipal Government, Yang Li also highlighted in his speech: “In the future, we will work together in collaboration with all parties home and abroad to promote the China-Korea e-commerce cooperation to a larger scale and a higher level and strive to forge Weihai as an international cross-border highland”. Cross-border e-commerce is on its way to grow into an online Silk Road influencing the global economy. With the holding of this conference, more cross-border e-commerce companies of China and Korea will be concentrated for cooperation and communication, which not only helps to push forward the construction of an important hub linking China and Korea to accelerate the internationalization strategy for Weihai, but also deepens the trade cooperation between Chinese and Korean companies, which is definitely beneficial to the development of “Silk Road of E-commerce”.
