According to the agreement, WiMAX technology trials will begin in Brazil during the second quarter of 2006. Thanks to Samsung’s advanced Mobile WiMAX equipment and experienced installation support partnered with TVA’s innovative multimedia contents and service operations, Brazilian customers will be able to enjoy high speed internet, voice communications, and other multimedia broadcasting contents on the move from the second half of 2006.

The natural evolution of the wireless service is to be rolled-out to basic institutions in the country, such as hospitals, schools, universities and public institutions in general, which will be able to use the technology’s potential to benefit the served communities.
