SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Valor International School, which has cemented its status by sending students annually to Ivy League universities and other top-tier colleges for the past five years, announced an expansion of its shuttle service in the Southern Gyeonggi region (Dongtan and below). This initiative is part of the school’s strategy to increase access to its enhanced programs for younger students.

Each year, more than 50% of Valor’s graduates gain admission to universities ranked in the top 50 in the United States. This accomplishment is particularly notable considering the challenging educational environment in Anseong, Gyeonggi-do. Valor’s success has been largely attributed to its in-house programs.

Building upon partnerships with prestigious schools worldwide, Valor International School stands shoulder to shoulder with the best educational institutions globally. Beginning this year, Valor is reinforcing its programs for elementary and middle school students (5th to 7th graders). The school is expanding its shuttle bus service to accommodate younger students who might find living in dormitories challenging. This expansion now includes service to Dongtan, allowing more students from the central and southern regions of Gyeonggi Province to experience Valor’s excellent educational system and beautiful campus facilities.

Valor International School is unique in its active student exchange program with U.S. schools, bringing students from the U.S. to Korea for high-quality educational programs and cultural exchanges. This arrangement is relatively rare as it’s usually Korean students who visit the U.S., and not vice versa. The program has been running for over four years, bringing between two to five students each year for a rich cultural and educational experience. This year, one of the exchange students from Valor Global Online, who is a senior, was admitted to Vanderbilt University through the QuestBridge program and received a full four-year scholarship. He expressed gratitude for the exchange program and the counseling team at Valor International School, stating that it opened doors to his college journey. He described his experience living in the dorms with friends as socially and culturally enriching, as well as academically beneficial.

Sara Byun, Valor’s representative, said, “From its inception, Valor has aimed to provide an authentic educational experience that stands up to comparison with the world’s prestigious schools, rather than just being a tutoring-oriented international school focusing solely on college admissions.” She added, “We believe that if we instill our educational values from a young age, we can nurture students who will become ideal Valor graduates, prepared for the future. We have strengthened our lower-grade programs and expanded shuttle bus operations to ensure greater participation.”

Valor’s unique, student-centered approach has proven to be the key to yielding successful admissions results. The school is committed to nurturing future-ready students who align with what universities currently desire, rather than relying on results from private education.

This year, Valor International School produced successful applicants to prestigious American universities, including Cornell University, Vanderbilt University, UC Berkeley, Boston College, New York University, Emory University, and the University of Washington.

Applications for the elementary and middle school programs will be accepted until August 4th. For more detailed information about Valor International School, Please visit the website.
