Traditional Wedding Performance and Experience Event at Ttukseom Hangang Park to Experience Charm of Traditional Culture and Seoul
This event, organized by HUMAN AND CULTURE OF CENTER, is part of a tourism promotion campaign for Seoul and will focus on providing traditional cultural experiences in connection with the “2024 Seoul International Garden Expo.”
The main programs include a reenactment of traditional weddings, traditional wedding attire and hanbok (Korean traditional clothing) experiences, traditional games, and other various events. The wedding performance will feature a theatrical reenactment of parts of a traditional Korean wedding, performed twice daily. Participants, both locals and internationals, will receive various souvenirs such as suitcase stickers and traditional snacks. Additionally, there will be a hashtag event where visitors can take photos at the photo zone and share them on social media. Those who complete all the missions of the experience programs through a stamp tour will receive limited-edition souvenirs on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event will be held under Cheongdamdaegyo Bridge at Ttukseom Hangang Park, running from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM on October 3rd, 5th, and 6th, and from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM on October 4th. Participation is free.
From 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM on October 3rd, 5th, and 6th, there will also be a variety of traditional Korean music performances. The performing teams include NINE ROCKER'Z CLUB, E SANG, ARIHYUN BAND, and LASTREETCREW. Viewing the performances is free, and there will be a range of gifts prepared for the audience.
