From November 1 to 30, 2007 the Sky Lounge will play host to Mr. Damon McGinniss, Chef & Owner of the famous restaurant ‘Bistro 1248’ in New Zealand as well as 2007 Beef & Lamb Ambassador. Mr. McGinniss has created an exotic, yet appealing set of delicacies featuring beef, lamb and fresh New Zealand seafood for the dining pleasure of our patrons. You can enjoy the freshest ingredients from New Zealand at the height of their natural flavor served in exotic dishes with great New Zealand wines.

To give patrons some idea of the menu selections: For starters Mr. Barton will offer green lip mussel & monkfish fritters, pea sauce & ginger foam, Peppered New Zealand beef carpaccio, sweet soy, baked goats’ cheese. Guests may then try a New Zealand beef fillet, tomato mash, oyster mushrooms & horopito butter, or Half grilled lobster, pan flashed foie gras, roasted Australian wagyu beef tenderloin steak, grilled whole abalone with lemon juice. Finally for dessert there a choice of Pavlova, chilled lemon souffle and South gin syrup, or Manuka honey ice cream with chocolate and macadamia pudding.
