An Extraordinary Culinary Journey...Visit the Australian Grill at the Grand InterContinental Seoul
Two three-course set menus have been created exclusively for this event. One set menu starts out with smoked rainbow trout with avocado, boiled potato and caviar cream mayonnaise served with Fox Creek Chardonnay 2004. This followed by herb marinated Australian lamb T-bone with grilled vegetables, garlic mashed potato and pommery mustard sauce, served with Fox Creek Shairaz/Grenache 2005. The other set menu features Fox Creek Chardonnay 2004 served with Tortellini with scampi, aromatic vegetables and roasted shellfish sauce. Beef lovers will enjoy the next course, Australian Wagyu beef medallion with mushroom risotto cake, asparagus and pink peppercorn sauce served with the Grenache 2005.
Grown in southern Australian where the long, sunny days produce distinctive wines, the Chardonnay’s soft, rich palate shows white peach and honeydew melon flavors, framed with a generous creamy texture. The Shiraz and Grenache in perfect proportion deliver a spicy palate of dark berries, a soft tannin structure with excellent length of flavor.
