The concept this special event is that each chef will be preparing a delicious menu selection from their own restaurants. So that means when you visit the buffet, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy Grilled house smoked salmon, vanilla mayonnaise, watercress, fried Capers prepared directly by our Executive Chef from C. Grill, Mr. Paul Schenk. Or you could choose to be taken care of by Mr. Nick Flynn, from Sky Lounge who will be presenting Seared Chermoula scallop, preserved lemon, fennel, semi dried tomatoes. Or you might enjoy a fabulous dessert prepared by Mr. Martin Chiffers·Warm black peppered cherries with molasses cream.
So, in addition to the generous buffet selection that you normally enjoy at each of our buffet restaurants, you will have the opportunity to indulge yourself in some extra special menu selections. In addition, the guest chefs will be providing coupons for a free beverage for when you visit their own restaurants.
At the same time, the InterContinental Hotels Group will introduce the InterContinental Cookbook, compiled from recipes submitted by chefs at InterContinental Hotels around the world. The new cookbook contains 300 recipes from 142 hotels in 60 countries. The recipes are in English and include two from Korea: bibimbap (mixed rice and vegetables) and samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup). This cookbook will make an excellent gift item for anyone interested in international cuisine.
