Brainzsquare releases secure USB drive with anti-copying technology for contents of e-books
SecuDrive DRM for eBook is an exclusive secure USB drive where DRM feature being embedded in. This product is a portable DRM platform available without a management server. Main features include anti-copying of contents and anti-screen capture. Being different from CD-ROM, reading and writing are available in SecuDrive DRM for eBook. Ebook made with PDF enables a user to add notes directly on the file and save it to SecuDrive.
“SecuDrive eBook” needs no modification or editing of the execution file for anti-copying. It boasts portability compared to CD-ROM. Also, this product supports flash books suitable for multimedia contents. Volumes lineup is 4GB/8GB/16GB and the product works in Windows XP and Vista. The rest of the space except specific secure zone for e-book is available for normal use such as data saving.
In general, ebook or flash book is CD-ROM type. For anti-copying, it needs anti-copying code insert and partial editing of the data execution program. In addition, anti-copying CD-ROM rarely achieves 100% data protection against illegal copying. It also lacks portability.
