Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--M&SOFT, which is capturing over 60% of the navigation map and software market in Korea, will debut its navigation software for export, ‘SpeedNavi- North American version’ at the Consumer Electronics Show(CES) to be held in Las Vegas, U.S. (Booth number: sands 74169)

This ‘SpeedNavi’ provides ‘3D Illustration Display’, which refers to real street and the background features, for the maximizing the reality of the digital map, ‘Multiracial POI DB’, ‘Easy route planner’, TTS (Text to Speech) and etc. ‘Multiracial POI DB’ is the function which introduces local restaurants, Supermarkets and other information relating to multiracial people such as Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and etc. in the U.S. And ‘SpeedNavi’ offers strong voice guidance including the unrecorded name of the region using TTS function.

Moreover, ‘SpeedNavi- North American version’ also offers multi-language service for the users. It offers voice service in multiple language even English, Korean, Chinese, Spanish and French so foreign travelers who travel with a rental car and Koreans living abroad can use it without any difficulty, too.

M&SOFT, which is in charge of developing the navigation map for the Export cars of the Hyundai motors company, is taking a role to design the navigation format of the export cars of Hyundai Motors Company, confirm the local base map, develop the application map, make additional services, update the map database, and provide after sale services. ‘SpeedNavi – North American version’ which is introduced at CES 2009 is the AM(After Market) navigation software transforming BM(Before Market) navigation digital map which is already used in the cars of the Hyundai Motors company in U.S. since 2007

Jang-won Choi, director of the global business division said “We strengthen to enter the U.S. market with our quality competiveness such as 3D technology, personal detailed DB through world’s best navigation digital map and software technology in the Korean leading navigation market.”

M&SOFT launched its global navigation brand ‘SpeedNavi’ in China and Thailand in April 2007 and ranks on top in the Thai market. Meanwhile, M&SOFT agreed on a ‘SpeedNavi’ distribution contract in the Asia-Pacific region with worldwide car AVN (Audio Video Navigation) company, Alpine in 2008.
