Russell Asia Index: Small Caps Outperforming in 2010

타코마 워싱턴주--(뉴스와이어)--Data from Russell Indexes shows that small cap stocks continue to outperform large cap stocks in Asia.

The Russell Asia Small Cap Index has gained 5.6% for year-to-date in 2010, through August 23, compared to a gain of 1.9% in the Russell Asia Large Cap Index. The trend has continued in the third quarter with the Russell Asia Small Cap Index (5.8%) slightly outperforming the Russell Asia Large Cap Index (4.7%) for the quarter through August 23.

The broad-market Russell Asia Index has posted a return of 4.9% for the third quarter through August 23, 2010, recovering well from the second quarter loss of -6.6%. Year-to-date, the Russell Asia Index has risen 2.6%. ,
