RFaxis to Meet Customer Demand to Fill Renesas Supply Gap by Shipping CMOS Power Amplifiers
“Based on major market and customer demand for alternatives for RF components developed and manufactured by companies adversely impacted by the unfortunate disasters in Japan, we are currently sampling our RFX200, a CMOS 2.4GHz power amplifier extracted from our single-chip/single-die RF Front-end Integrated Circuit (RFeIC™),” stated Mike Neshat, chairman and CEO of RFaxis. “Because we begin with complete and fully integrated single-die RF Front-end circuits that include power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, switching, matching, etc., our architecture makes it extremely easy for us to spin-out specific circuit functions, such as that needed for power amplification, into discrete CMOS components. Also, we will soon be sampling our RFX500 CMOS 5.0GHz linear power amplifier designed for WLAN applications.”
