Mediana Participates in ‘Germany Dusseldorf Medical Equipment Exhibition’
Mediana participates in this exhibition with the largest booth among the Korean hall, and plans to present auto-defibrillator (AED) along with medical monitor, oxygen saturation measurer, ECG system and 20 or so types of various specialized products.
The company explained that “at this exhibition, we will install a separate booth for the Colin brand acquired from Japan’s Omron last year to strengthen the brand image and publicize the products of Mediana Colin.”
Also, the new product launching show is prepared for the manual heart defibrillator newly released during the period of this event in order to draw the attention of the relevant visitors.
Auto-defibrillator, which is the representative product of Mediana along with medical monitor (patient surveillance device), is an automatic device that revives the heart function by applying electrical impulse to the heart in an emergency situation such as sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). The company observed that it will draw a better response overseas where the penetration rate is higher than Korea, reflecting on the situation where SCA patients are increasing due to the aging population.
