SEATTLE, WA--(Korea Newswire)--The Russell Asia Pacific ex-Japan Index returned +13.4% year-to-date, with the Producer Durables sector showing the strongest return within the index of +18.8% as of March 12, 2012.

Within the Index, the Technology (+18.6%), Energy (+16.5%) and Financial Services (+12.8%) sectors also posted strong returns while the Consumer Staples (+8.0%) and Utilities (+7.2%) sectors had the lowest returns year-to-date as of March 12, 2012.

Within the index, Taiwan-based ChipMOS Technologies Burmuda Ltd. (+176.7%) had the highest return, while India-based Sterling International Enterprises Ltd. (-82.5%) had the lowest returns year-to-date as of March 12, 2012.
