KOHI successfully concluded ‘Health Policy and System for Bolivia’ Program With KOICA

청원--(뉴스와이어)--Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health and Welfare, KOHI (President; Ryu Hoyoung) successfully concluded <Health Policy and System for Bolivia>Program with KOICA. Delegates from National or Local Government officials engaged in the field of National Healthcare System, Health policy from Bolivia participated in the course from 10th October to 26th October in 2013.

The course was designed to focus on health policy and system. Lecturers from College of Nursing, Yonsei University, Oriental Medicine at Kyung Hee University delivered. Participants also visited Healthy Living Support Center in Namyangjoo, The Korean Institute of Tuberculosis, Cheongju Medical Center and Kyunghee University Medical Center to see and learn the programs and projects for health policy and system for persons with disabilities in Korea.

Srta. Ariana Campero Nava, Ministry of health and welfare in Bolivia, said “The course was organized and packaged very well, and I like the study visit to Oriental Medicine at Kyung Hee University the best” She also expressed that she got many ideas to implement to Bolivia.

KOHI runs various International fellowship programs, including Maternal and Child Health Promotion, Health Policy and Program Management, and Community Health Development to improve the world's health.
