PyeongChang--(뉴스와이어)--PyeongChang 2014 will send a senior delegation to attend the Candidate City workshop being organized by the IOC at their headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland from September 4 to 6.

Members of the delegation include the Secretary General for International Affairs, Kang-ro YOON, and Professor Jeon-pyo NOH of Yonsei University, a member of the bid team’s Finance Committee and its Dream Team, a group of about 60 experts assisting PyeongChang on the Winter Olympic bidding process.

The workshop is aimed at providing the three 2014 Candidate Cities with important information concerning the next stages of the bidding process leading to Host City selection by the IOC in July 2007, in Guatemala City, among which will be the dates that the IOC Evaluation Commission will visit PyeongChang in 2007, as well as the regulations for overseas promotional activity starting in October.

Through its delegation at Lausanne, PyeongChang 2014 is looking forward to obtaining more in-depth information related to the preparation of its bid Candidature File, which is to be submitted to the IOC by January 10 next year.
