PyeongChang--(뉴스와이어)--Korea's internationally renowned soprano Sumi Jo, an Honorary Ambassador for PyeongChang 2014, has launched a nationwide concert series in honor of PyeongChang's 2014 Winter Olympic bid campaign.

Having opened her tour in the city of Suwon on September 5, the great Korean soprano will perform in nine other cities around Korea as part of efforts to celebrate PyeongChang's ambitions.

In addition to expressing her hopes for a successful Winter Olympic bid, Jo's concert tour coincides with a celebration of the 20th anniversary of her international debut.

Her nationwide tour schedule includes concerts in Daegu, Busan, Daejeon, Pohang , Ansan, Geoje, Gwangju, Chuncheon and Seoul. During her performances, Jo will sing works by Vivaldi, Bellini and Schubert, among others.

Jo will conclude her Chuncheon concert on the 19th with the PyeongChang 2014 theme song, "Dream of PyeongChang." The Honorary Ambassador will cap off her 10-city concert tour in Seoul on the 27th.
