Style 777 Campaign to Offer Year-Long Test-Drive Opportunity to 777 Style Creators

GM Daewoo Auto and Technology announced today its unique Style 777 Campaign, where the automaker will offer year-long test drives to 777 'style creators' at no charge in connection with the celebration of its seventh anniversary. Any Korea citizen over the age of 21 with a valid driver's license can apply to a test-driver. The application forms are available at GM Daewoo's showrooms, After Service Network locations and website.
The Style 777 Campaign will be carried out in two phases, with the first being launched in October 2009 and the second commencing in January 2010. A total of 777 individuals who represent the pinnacle of style will be selected to enjoy one of 390 Lacetti Premiere IDs and 387 Matiz Creatives. Any Korean citizen over the age of 21 with a valid driver’s license can apply to be a test driver.

The application period for the first phase begins today and runs through November 30. Application forms are available at GM Daewoo’s showrooms, After Service Network locations and website (www.gmdaewoo.co.kr). The first 400 people chosen will be announced on December 24 on the GM Daewoo website. Those who are not selected in the first phase will have their applications automatically entered in the second phase, during which 377 winners will be selected. The second phase will run from January to February 2010.
The Lacetti Premiere ID is the highest trim level of the new model. It is equipped with an automatic sunroof and S-ESC (Sensitive-Electronic Stability Control). The vehicles that will be part of the test drive will come in six colors, including Velvet red. GM Daewoo is likewise offering the highest trim level of the Matiz Creative, the Groove Star Edition, which includes automatic air-conditioning, ABS, a passenger seat air bag and 15-inch alloy wheels. Test drive vehicles will be available in seven colors.
Style creators will be asked to evaluate the performance, quality and design of their respective vehicles and record their driving experiences. GM Daewoo will cover car registration fees, premiums, taxes, etc., while test drivers will be responsible for ordinary driving expenses such as fuel charges and any traffic infractions.
