ZMDI Is Extending its DC/DC Regulator Solutions With the Launch of the ZSPM4023, a Wide Input Voltage, Energy-Efficient IC Providing Up to 12A of Output Current in a Small, Integrated Package
ZMD AG (ZMDI), a Dresden-based semiconductor company that specializes in enabling energy-efficient solutions, today announces the product release of an energy-efficient DC/DC regulator for non-isolated step-down applications.

The ZSPM4023 and the previously announced ZSPM4022 provide simple, easy-to-design, highly integrated DC/DC conversion with improved efficiency, enabling customers a quick time-to-market solution for load requirements up to 12A,” said Adrian Ward, Architect of Analog Power at ZMDI. “The DC/DC family of the ZSPM4023 and ZSPM4022 focuses on offering capabilities for higher load levels and supporting a wide input voltage range, thus allowing customers flexibility in their system designs while maintaining a small footprint.”

Availability and Pricing
The ZSPM4023 is in full production. It is available in three variants based upon output load rating: ZSPM4023-12 (12A), ZSPM4023-09 (9A), and ZSPM4023-06 (6A). Parts and ZSPM4023 Evaluation Kit are available from ZMDI.
For 1,000 pieces, the ZSPM4023-12 is priced at EUR 1,46 or USD 2.05 per unit.
