KNPA designates Oct. 4 as the Day of Police for Human Rights
It reflects the KNPA’s strenuous effort to fully defend human rights, while reviewing its relevant achievements in the previous year.
The agency will also enact 93 regulations that police should obey to protect human rights.
The regulations will include a right for police to refuse actions that will do harm to human rights, an operation of the warrant screening committee, protection of human rights for those participating in mass gatherings and demonstrations, and the protection of human rights of victims of crimes, among other things, it said.
